Ben Stack from the A894

Scotland's mini Everest? Travelling north on the A894 north of Scourie, Sutherland,, there are several twists and turns on the road. After one right-angle bend, this vista suddenly opens up, with the distinctive summit right in the middle of your eyeline. At 721m height, Ben Stack is not high by Scottish standards, but from some angles looks a lot bigger than it is. This view was taken from a layby at the roadside.
